SIMPLE TIPS YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE SPENDING ON VALENTINES DAY!

Image result for top ways to save during valentines1) The Day After

The day after valentines day is always the best day to purchase flowers, candies and small gifts. Everything and anything is on sale from 40-60% off. This is an easy way to save funds and still give your partner something nice. Luckily, Valentines day is on a Friday this year (still a work day). This is prime for savings because you can plan to celebrate on the Saturday and claim those savings! So book your dinners on Saturday and have those 50% off Chocolates and flowers ready for your partner.

2) Benefits Package

Capitalize on your benefits packages from work. As a part of my benefits package at work, both my partner and I are getting a couples massage (approx.$60-100 per person). With benefits, approx. $8-$15 per person. MAJOR KEY, MAJOR SAVINGS. This is a very intimate, fun and relaxing time that can be spent with your partner, so capitalize on any benefits you may have to help you save money.

3) Thought that Counts

Remember that it's the thought that counts. There is no need to spend racks on a gift. You should try to do meaningful things for your partner. For example, little things like writing a long message in a card is more important than your money. Spend time making the special day relaxed and significant.

I hope these simple tips help you save money and make your partners day special.

Happy Valentines! xoxo
