EDUCATE YOURSELF AND SAVE DURING QUARANTINE: Save, Learn and Support Disadvantaged Communities.

The end of Quarantine is coming for many people, it looks like we have 1-2 more months indoors.
Many people have been saying you don't need to be productive during this time.. You don't need to work out, start a new hobby or develop a business plan. This is true but you should be thinking about how to can better help your finances, mental health and how you can help the world.

You can begin by.. SAVING YOUR MONEY!

Save you're coins in bed, on the porch, in your backyard. Whether you're getting CERB cheques, working from home or your an essential worker try your best to spend less since we don't have the option to go out and spend.

Other important and impactful things you can do for yourself and the world...

Support Social Justice Movements-
Here are some sites that you can share or donate too.
Support Homeless Youth
Learn and Petition against the Killings of Black People
Learn How to better support the LGBTQ and Trans Community

Watch Documentaries and Educational Material-
Here are some documentaries and educational films that can help you learn more about the world.
McMillions- Man who stole $24m from McDonalds
Central Park Five- When They See Us: Based on Racial Injustice and Wrongful Investigation
Planet Earth: World's most awe-inspiring natural wonders

Things to avoid to help increase your savings...

Amazon-
Avoid getting played by amazon that makes you believe that you need a new workout set, new lights, new video games. As tempting as it is, its important to purchase at the same rate as you would prior to social isolation. If you haven't bought your new lights in the last 6 months you probably don't need them.

Online Sales-
Online shops will try to make you think you are saving tons of money, but in reality there is no sale. They've increased their prices and generated discount codes to give you fake discounts on full priced items. You end up saving $0.00 when you come back to the site in a few months you will notice that everything is at "sale price" without the discount codes and SALE signs all over the site.

Do yourself a favour and stay off these sites, save your money and focus on developing your mind and changing your perspective. Come out of quarantine educated and in a surplus of money.

All the best,

-Coll
