JULY BLOG: 3 MONTH HOUSE UPDATE!

 

Happy Tuesday Readers!

Today's blog will be a short one as we are only 3 months into construction for our new home. We visited our construction site two weeks ago and were surprised with the progress our builders have made considering we are still feeling the impacts of Covid-19. Many buyers have been predicting delays in construction but we have actually seen the opposite (luckily). 

Before I list off some of the house updates, in April when we purchased our home there was no street, no road, we really had no additional information about our home besides our lot number. All we had was a signed contract, a pile of dirt and a confirmed closing date.  

3 Month Update: 

- We met with our builders to ask some questions and pick up our physical copy of our contract. 

- Our street has been developed (we can drive to our lot)

- Our lot is sectioned out, we can see where our home will be built

- We have created our priority list and know what we will be upgrading in our home with our credit/buyer's incentive that came with our house purchase

-We have a scheduled month to start working with our interior designer to see our interior options and start working on designing the inside of our home

This is all for now!  

We are impressed with the progress and are literally counting down the days until move in. Stay tuned for a 6 month house update, by then we should be planning our interior designs!
